Organize!

Section 1

An Organized Method for Structuring Your Day
In each of the 12 sections there are worksheets and organizational helps to pull all the loose ends of our lives together into one clearly identified system. These materials serve many purposes simultaneously, from the very practical organization of time and information to the most sacred of spiritual development such as repentance, personal revelation or searching for deeper meaning for our lives. This binder will be your journal, your calendar, your planner, your address book and your financial planner all in one, but there is much more to “seeking the kingdom of God” than the planning and organization of your time and money.

Building strength of character, strengthening family relationships, strengthening faith and testimony, changing attitudes, becoming less self-focused and turning our focus outward are equally crucial to include in our basic daily structure. A man who takes the time to do the intangible things will change lives, change families and change history.

Daily Structure provides the materials that will help you to embark upon a personal transformation of the organization of your life that will not only incur the immediate blessings of having your days more fulfilling, more joyful and more productive, but will also strengthen you and your family during this exciting yet challenging time of Earth’s history when evil influences are so prevalent in our every day lives. Because the enemy knows his time is short and the imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon, he is intensifying his strategies against the children of God—especially the family unit. Our only defense is to increase our power to resist evil and strengthen our capacity to live righteously. 3D Health Daily Structure is designed for this purpose.

An Efficient Approach to Home Storage
The worksheets in each section work together to build a structure into your day that uses your home storage supplies every day and keeps them rotating. You will find helps and materials to keep track of the things you have stored and integrate them into your kitchen. With this system, all of the ingredients for all of your dinner recipes are grouped together in one easy-to-identify crate and all your baking ingredients are in another crate. This eliminates steps and makes cooking with whole foods faster and more efficient.

An Expansive Approach to Spiritual Preparedness
Preparedness is so much more than just storing food and supplies. Our hearts and minds must be steady as a rock in an emergency when things might be crumbling around us. We have to be those people who have peace in the eye of the storm. This comes from careful and fruitful preparation and expansion of our spiritual development. Many of the sections have a spiritual focus with worksheets that inspire deeper scripture study and comprehension, deeper prayer, deeper meditation and worship, spiritual cleansing and emotional stability. Our vessels must be filled with oil. We must be filled with the bread of life and satiated by living water. We must be bearing the fruit of the Spirit or our branches are good for nothing.

Setting Up Your Personal Journal Binder
There are 12 sections with a large packet of material to go in each section. These materials may include worksheets, music CDs, excel spreadsheets, color illustrations, recipes and teaching materials. This deluge of exciting materials has proven to be overwhelming to some. For this reason, we set up the Personal Journal Binder that you use every day. The rest of the materials in each section are kept in a separate larger notebook that is far too heavy to carry around by the time you have collected all 12 sections.  These materials are meant to take a lifetime to complete. As our lives become increasingly more intense and demanding as we near the Second Coming of Christ, it will become crucial to our spiritual and temporal survival to have a planned method how to keep our eye “single to the glory of God.” Having a separate Personal Journal Binder to be your personal life coach to keep you focused on what you choose to make your highest priority. Because habits are formed in 21 day, you will always be choosing new pages from the larger collection of material to put into this Personal Journal Binder and then in 21 days moving the pages you have completed back to the larger notebook or for more sensitive and personal writings, to an Archive Journal Binder.

Your Personal Journal Binder will go with you to church so you can write down important announcements and write any inspiration that comes to you. You will take it with you to doctor appointments so that you can keep track of your blood pressure and any comments or instructions the doctor may give you. You will take it on vacation to write your deepest thoughts and find the answers you are looking for. You will even take it with you food shopping because your food shopping lists are included in your Daily Menu Plan. You might just want to get a bigger purse or brief case so that you can have your Personal Journal Binder with you all the time, because this binder will have all your important phone numbers, plans, calendars and blank journal pages--besides the pages that you have chosen to be your highest priorities for the next 21 days.

A Different Kind of Address Book
Because the demands on our lives are becoming more and more complicated, our address books have to be a little more sophisticated. This binder has 12 sections and we each acquire phone numbers, addresses and email addresses in connection with all 12 sections. For example in the financial section you will have a worksheet to write all of the information on your creditors, your bills, your account numbers, the company phone numbers, etc. on one sheet of paper. In the Church section you will hole-punch your ward list and place it there. In section 8 we keep track of all of the extended family addresses, phone numbers, emails and birthdays. In the Health section, we have logs of our medical appointments with all of the medical and dental professionals listed and their phone numbers and addresses. In the Daily Structure section we keep frequently used phone numbers such as the local pizza delivery or the barber. In the Outreach section we keep phone numbers of all the people we interact with such as the softball team parents or co-workers in the office. These are the people in our circle of influence. Having their addresses and phone numbers, each on separate lists, will facilitate outreach such as inviting them to meet at Pizza Hut after the game or sending them thank you cards for a job well done.

An Effective Planner
Much of the “schedule juggling” that goes on as we try to balance all that we need to accomplish in a day is already eliminated simply by having a consistent daily structure as you will find as you apply the concepts in this first seminar "Organize!", however there is still some need for daily planning. Utilizing the wonders of sticky notes you will create an organizational system that will change your life. In fact all of the sticky notes you have around your home can now be placed in this binder. Write notes to yourself on any topic and you will find a corresponding worksheet to put it on.

A New Approach to Journaling
The worksheets in the spiritual sections of Daily Structure ask you to write on specific topics, each of which have been recommended by the general authorities to journal including things that impact you as you read scripture, things that you are thankful for, things that you pray for, personal revelation that has been revealed to you, recurring dreams, and many other topics. By having a worksheet for each topic, you will be able to return to the things you have written quickly and easily. This will remind you to follow through with the things that have been spoken to you personally. So often we write things down, which is a step in the right direction, but then forget what we wrote. This system of journaling keeps all that you have written in the forefront of your daily structure, revisiting them again and again.

 Supplies and Organization
Before you begin, you will need a pen, a pencil with an eraser, highlighter crayons for scripture study and 3x5 sticky notes. You will need an organized way to keep these items with this notebook such as a 3-ring binder pouch. Make a commitment to keep a pen with this notebook at all times so that you are equipped to receive and write down personal revelation at all times. All 12 sections will help you to organize a specific aspect of life. You will see immediate increase in productivity, motivation and spiritual progress when you have a consistent daily structure that includes a scheduled time for quiet prayer, meditation, scripture study and planning to create a foundation that is built upon the rock of eternal truths and not on the shifting sand of the standards of a decaying world.

If we skip the important things that God has asked us to do, so often it is not due to an unwilling heart, but due to the overwhelming stimulus supplied by the world around us that keeps us preoccupied. Your Personal Journal Binder provides a means to block out all that noise and to listen to that still small voice of the Spirit inside us. It helps us set up our highest priorities and then keep focused on them until the goal is reached.

What you do with this material is up to you and your own commitment and determination to stay focused on and be led by the voice of the Spirit in these latter days. If you have a system that is already working for you in some of these aspects of your life, Spiritual Preparedness materials can be a vehicle that you can use to help others to get to the same level of productivity that you already naturally have. You may be great at maintaining a good diet and consistent daily exercise, but how will you communicate these habits to your loved ones and those that you influence around you? These pages will become the means to guiding and coaching others onto a healthier path by sharing one page at a time with them as the Holy Spirit prompts you.

Some of the daily spiritual habits and attitudes we hope to put into place by using this program are:

rising early

having personal prayer and scripture study

having family prayer and scripture study

keeping a journal

eating whole grains

avoiding unhealthy substances

having a two-year supply of wheat and legumes and keeping it rotating

educating ourselves to the highest level available to us

being aware or and avoiding the traps set for us by conspiring men in the latter days

turning our hearts towards the fathers in genealogy

speaking the language of love in our homes

keeping the commandments

repenting daily

conquering pride and gaining humility

magnifying our callings and visiting people we care about

reaching out to others in missionary work and humanitarian efforts

keeping ourselves “unspotted from the world“

loving God with all our heart, might, mind and strength

loving our neighbor as ourselves

acknowledging God in all things

and living by faith in the promises that He gave us

When a man has “no time” for family scripture study or “no money” for food storage, he is living his life just as the parable of the 10 virgins vividly portrayed. When the bridegroom comes this man’s lamp will be empty and he will be caught sleeping, because he put so many hours in at work that he is too exhausted to stay awake and be aware of the times in which he is living. Just as the man who built his house on the shifting sand, when the storms come and beat against his house, this man’s house will fall.

It is clearly written in scripture that when the Savior returns it will be both a “great” day and a “terrible” day. There will be cataclysmic disasters around the world, just as it was at his birth, death and resurrection. We would be wise to not only prepare physically with food, water, first aid and survival supplies, but  spiritually, keeping our lamps full of oil. The oil that fills our lamps comes from a lifestyle of obedience to the commandments—those I mentioned a moment ago and many others.

I believe that our Heavenly Father expects us to prepare and strengthen ourselves and our loved ones to face the great demands and challenges that we will encounter in the final countdown to the Second Coming of Christ. To help my family and yours to be prepared in all three dimensions of health: body, mind and spirit, I have established 3DHealth.net.  We provide dynamic seminars using uplifting music, motivational teaching materials, efficient organizational systems and quality home storage products that will preserve our lives and help us to be spiritually prepared in the face of any emergency.
